Once you've chosen a template to work with, you (hopefully) dragged the source folder into your WolvenKit project (if not, you should re-read the previous page ).
If you don't know how to create a WolvenKit project, you should refer to the before proceeding with this tutorial.
At this point, your Wolvenkit project should look something like this:
The most important files in this project are the .inkcharcustomization files β there is one for male V (pma) and one for female V (pwa). These two files are extremely important: they make up the layout and structure of the Character Creator.
The new switchers for our tattoos are generated within these files. The switchers must also follow a strict configuration to ensure your tattoos and other peoples tattoos will be able to share the same switcher in the UI. Thankfully, these have already been configured to work out-of-the-box β you only need to add your tattoo additions to the switchers.
You should have a fairly straightforward file structure in your Project Explorer that keeps all the necessary mod files organized. Depending on which template you are using, you may or may not have certain file typesβfor example, the .morphtarget file is only necessary for female chest tattoos, as they must be able to adapt to the different breast size options in the game. .
Each file in this project has a unique purpose. The purpose of each file type has already been documented on .
